You will be required to travel with your passport to fly to Spain. This is standard practice when flying to countries. You will also be required to show your passport during check in for security purposes at Mar Menor Resort. After you have checked in at Mar Menor, you are able to freely use all the magnificent facilities provided within the resort without the need to show your passport.
- Pets in the accommodation at Mar Menor Resort
Due to accidental damage that could be caused, no pets are allowed whilst staying on holiday at the Mar Menor Resort. This applies to both the Intercontinental Hotel and Mar Menor self catering accommodation. Even though pets may be very well behaved, they could cause damage to the property.

Within the Mar Menor resort, the will find post boxes to post any mail you require sending. Regular collections of mail feature at the Resort, so mail sent will be delivered just like any other mail in Spain to ensure your post is delivered in a good time frame. For stamps or postcards, the supermarket should be able to fulfill your requirements.
Guests staying at the Mar Menor InterContinental Hotel are provided with writing paper and envelopes within each room found in the directory of services folder. If you require stamps or any additional postal services, please contact the concierge in the hotel.

At the Mar Menor Resort, a large supermarket is found in the town centre. Ideal for everyone living and staying on holiday at Mar Menor Resort, the super market provides mostly everything you could need. Due to the supermarket being a large size, as it provides an extensive amount of items there is little to no need to travel out of the resort to go shopping else where.
If preparing and cooking your own food during your holiday doesnt suit, the resort restaurants are strongly reccommended. With various types of cuisine from around the world, you are able to taste the finest flavours from a short distance away from your accommodation. Extensive menus provide choice for everyone to enjoy.

Taxi Transfers from Alicante Airport to Mar Menor Resort. There is no public transport service from the airport to the Mar Menor Resort.

We are able arrange taxi transfers on your behalf with the return included within the price. - Telephones at Mar Menor Resort Spain
Whilst staying at self cartering accommodation at the Mar Menor Resort, you are provided with telephones. The telephone as standard will allow you to receive internal phone calls from across the resort, including restaurants and reception. You are also able to receive incoming calls from outside of the resort (national and international) free of charge. If you wish to make an outgoing call, you will need to set this up with the management company on site. Usually upon arrival you are able to set up telephoning if required, where you will leave your credit card details with the management company. Once set up you will be freely able to make outgoing calls to anywhere in the world.
At the end of your stay at Mar Menor Resort, you will be required to settle your telephone bill with the site management company. You will receive an itemised statement showing all calls made during your stay and the duration. All calls made are charged at the local telephone company rate, usually Telefonica.
Staying at the Mar Menor InterContinental Hotel, each room is provided with a telephone to make and receive calls from. With voice mail available, you will be able to keep record of all messages left for you. At the InterContinenal Hotel, the telephone system will answer calls to record a message when you are unavailable to answer. A light will flash on your telephone if you have received a new message. All messages are kept and remain in your voice mail until you delete or check out.

The Mar Menor Resort has an extensive amount of activities and facilities for all the family. Amongst the fabulous designed golf course by Jack Nicklaus, you will discover the unique rooftop tennis above the commercial centre at Mar Menor Resort. The tennis facilities are available for use to all guests staying within the resort. Accompanying the tennis court are 8 paddle courts available to you.

- Towels in my Mar Menor Resort Accommodation
All self catering accommodation properties at Mar Menor Resort are supplied with bath towels, hand towels, etc. You will be required to provide your own beach or pool towels. Your accommodation at Mar Menor is cleaned prior to your arrival. If you are staying up to 9 nights, your accommodation will only be cleaned the once with clean bed linen, bath towels, etc. If your stay at Mar Menor is between 10 - 13 nights, your accommodation will be cleaned prior to your arrival, plus a mid stay change of linen and bath towels. Staying 14 nights or more - as above plus a mid stay clean of the property and change of linen and bath towels.
All self catering resort accommodation is provided with clean linen and towels upon your arrival to Mar Menor Resort. You should find everything you may require in your accommodation. However, if you require additional cleaning / maid services during your stay then this can be provided at an additional charge.

With a main line train station at Cartagena approximately 25 mintues from the Mar Menor Resort, the opportunity to catch a train to Madrid or Barcelona is there.
