When is the spa open?
The opening hours of the Mar Menor Spa is as follows
9am - 9pm Monday to Saturday
9am - 7pm Sunday

Please note that Spa treatment times differ and are shown below
10am - 8pm Monday to Saturday
9.30am - 6pm Sunday

How do I book an appointment at ESPA Mar Menor?
To book an appointment with the Mar Menor Spa, you can either telephone direct on 968 04 12 22 whilst at the resort, or simply contact the Spa reception, where the staff will be happy to help with booking any treatments you require.

When should I arrive?
You are encouraged to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your appointment to enjoy the exclusive facilities at the spa.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?
Please let the spa know as far in advance as possible if you wish to change your appointment, as late notice can mean a charge. If you require cancellation, please note that a 50% cancellation charge will incur for any treatment or spa programmes that are not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations within 12 hours will incur a 100% charge unfortunately.

Do I need to take my resort pass with me?
You will be required to bring your resort pass with you to the Spa, for access to all treatments, and other spa facilities on offer. If you are staying within the InterContinental Hotel, you simply just need to produce your room key card.

Can I get help?
If you require any assistance whilst at the Mar Menor Spa, please contact the reception or any member of staff. If during your spa treatment you require extra comfort, let the therapist know as they will be happy to help.

What if I have specific health concerns?
It is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries, which could affect your treatment when making your spa reservation.

Are spa treatments suitable during pregnancy?
We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please allow the ESPA team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you during this special time.

What should I wear?
With separate male and female changing rooms available at the Mar Menor Spa, you can enjoy the other resort facilities before your spa appointment without having to change clothes prior. This is ideal for anyone who has had a long enjoyable day and wants to relax and soothe in many of the spas facilities or for those who fancy a last minute pamper. In all public areas we request that swimsuits are worn, including the sauna, steam room and the indoor pool. Depending on your treatment, your body will always be fully draped excluding the area being worked upon.

Is there anywhere to leave my valuables?
We recommend for the safety of any valuables you may have or be wearing that you leave them in a secured place. If you are staying at the InterContinental Hotel, it is suggested that any items of value are held in the safety deposit box located within your guest room.

What if I feel uncomfortable?
If at any time you feel uncomfortable during your treatment at Mar Menor, please let the therapist know so they can adapt the treatment technique to suit you, making sure your spa experience is both relaxing and enjoyable. An example situation of this could be if the temperature needs adjusting or massage pressure. For your comfort, if you do have any health conditions it is advised you tell us at the time of booking. In respect of other spa guests we appreciate you turning off your mobile phone whilst in the spa.

Do you sell Gift Certificates?
Gift vouchers are available for any treatment at the Mar Menor Spa. An ideal present for someone special consists of a day programme or any ESPA products as these can be purchased from the spa reception. Gift vouchers are unfortunately non refundable and must be presented at the time of treatment or purchase.
